TBI Services In New York

We support individuals ages 18 and older with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), helping them achieve greater independence through personalized, community-based care.

Discover the Difference

The Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Medicaid Waiver is part of the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program overseen by the New York State Department of Health. This waiver program allows individuals with TBI or related diagnoses to receive care at home or in a community setting instead of a nursing facility.

Medicaid funding is used to provide a broad range of supportive services, designed to help each person remain safely and successfully integrated into the community. These services are ideal when informal caregivers, local agencies, or traditional Medicaid services alone are not enough.
